Poor air quality threatens health and reduces productivity. It has been proven that a high concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2) causes apathy and drowsiness, and the ability to make decisions decreases by more than 50%.
LifeQuality is a smart air quality sensor with temperature, humidity and CO2 sensors. The sensor monitors the dynamics of air quality in any premises - at home, in the office, at the factory. The user receives medical precision measurements, complete information in the application and automation scenarios. The Ajax security system with LifeQuality and automation devices turns on the ventilation or humidifier if the air quality indicators are below comfortable.
LifeQuality monitors air quality even on the go, so you can take it with you to your friends, hotel room or car. An LED indicator will notify you of dangerous air quality wherever you take the sensor. The built-in memory allows you to save indicators for up to 72 hours without communication with the hub or radio signal repeater. When the connection is restored, all data is sent to the Ajax application and synchronized with the graphs.
How CO2 affects performance
up to 450 ppm
The average level of CO2 (carbon dioxide) concentration outside2
451-1000 pm
The permissible level of CO2 concentration in the room.
Does not affect cognitive abilities2
1001-1399 ppm
Causes eye irritation, sore/dry throat, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, coughing.
Reduces concentration of attention3
1400-1999 ppm
Causes headache, dizziness, fatigue.
Adverse health effects are possible with prolonged exposure3
2000-2499 ppm
Wheezing and dry throat, difficulty concentrating.
Increased risk of health damage with prolonged exposure3
2500+ ppm
A significant decrease in decision-making efficiency
LED indicator
You don't need to open the Ajax app to find out the indoor air quality status. Depending on the CO2 reading, the LED will glow green, yellow, red, or purple. Just touch the logo on the sensor and find out the current CO2 level.
Corps
The case, thought out to the smallest detail, takes into account the placement of sensors and has an optimal system of holes for air passage. The case is available in white or black.
Temperature and humidity sensor
The SHT40 from the Swiss developer Sensirion is a digital sensor used in industrial facilities. The sensitive element is designed to work in difficult conditions where there is a possibility of condensation. The SHT40 has a self-diagnosis mechanism and provides an accuracy of ±0.2°C for temperature and ±2% for humidity.
CO2 sensor
The sensor uses Sunrise from the Swedish developer Sensair, which is an optical non-dispersive infrared sensor. It measures carbon dioxide in the air by a direct method without using mathematical models. The sensor is energy efficient with an average consumption of 45 μA and guarantees a minimum of 15 years of measurements with an accuracy of ±(30 + 3%) ppm.
Batteries
Two replaceable CR123A batteries are pre-installed and provide up to 3 years of battery life, without recharging and plugging in.
SmartBracket
The mounting panel allows you to easily fix the sensor on a flat surface, without having to disassemble the case. The sensor is removed from the mounting in one movement, if it is necessary to take it with you. The built-in accelerometer will notify if the sensor has been removed from the mounting panel or moved.
Thoughtful microclimate automation
LifeQuality is part of the Ajax ecosystem and can interact with automation devices, users and installation engineers through Ajax applications. Scenarios based on LifeQuality indicators can control the microclimate in any room, which gives a wide choice of devices for integration into the system. For example, the WallSwitch turns on the heating or ventilation when the reading reaches a set limit, and the Socket controls the humidifier when the humidity level becomes uncomfortable.
