Description

The switches of this series support advanced management and security functions, ensuring high performance and network scalability. Management features include SNMP, Web-based management, D-Link Network Assistant utility, and Compact Command Lines.The DGS-1210 series switches support a full set of Layer 2 functions, including IGMP Snooping, Port Mirroring, Spanning Tree, and Link Aggregation Protocol Control (LACP). The IEEE 802.3x flow control function allows you to directly connect servers to the switch for fast and reliable data transfer. Supporting speed on each of the ports up to 2000 Mbps in full duplex mode, the switches provide the high performance required to connect workplaces with minimal data loss. The switches support the cable diagnostics function and the Loopback Detection function. The Loopback Detection function is used to detect loops and automatically disable the port on which the loopback is detected. The cable diagnostic function is designed to determine the quality of the twisted pair, as well as the type of cable malfunction.
